Certified in Functional Manual Medicine
The CFMM provider was established by Michigan State Universities School of Osteopathic Medicines CME program that only trains licensed MDs, DOs, PTs and DDSs. This designation is for practitioners that provide manual medicine procedures utilizing a holistic approach to orthopedic manual therapy and has gone through several years of additional hands on training well beyond what is taught in their professional education. They go through a rigorous written and hands on cumulative testing procedure to ensure that they are providing the safest and highest level of manual evaluation, reasoning and treatment for the entire body. As of 2020, there are only 20 therapists in the world who have been able to pass this rigorous training.
